LA CAMPAGNA ACQUA PER GAZA
La popolazione di Gaza è sotto assedio. Dopo la fine del cessate il fuoco, ancora una volta vengono negati cibo, acqua potabile e farmaci a oltre due milioni di persone, la maggior parte ancora sfollate. Ancora una volta Israele utilizza la fame come arma di guerra. E mentre le panetterie sono costrette a chiudere per mancanza di farina e carburante, Gaza è di nuovo sull’orlo della carestia.
A quasi 2 anni dall’inizio dell’aggressione militare di Israele e con il lancio della recente offensiva “carri di Gedeone”, di Gaza non rimane quasi nulla: case distrutte, ospedali rasi al suolo, scuole e infrastrutture civili devastate. I beni di prima necessità sono ancora drammaticamente scarsi, mentre le condizioni igienico-sanitarie restano estremamente critiche.
Puoi immaginare l’impatto di tutto questo su bambini e bambine? Sono i più fragili, i più esposti a malattie, malnutrizione e agli effetti devastanti del trauma vissuto.
Con la tua donazione la campagna ACQUA PER GAZA, promossa dalla Ong “Un Ponte Per” a cui Yaku Odv ha prontamente aderito, presentando, insieme a Un Ponte Per, Al Ard e UAWC anche un progetto di Emergenza alla Provincia autonoma di Trento “Gocce di Speranza: Supporto idrico e igienico alle famiglie sfollate a Gaza”. Il tuo contributo consentirà alle associazioni palestinesi Al Ard e UAWC di portare acqua potabile e aiuti fondamentali alle famiglie, rafforzando la risposta locale all’emergenza. Con 300 euro circa possiamo consegnare a una famiglia di Gaza una tanica da 500 lt dotata di rubinetti e connettori e di rifornirla per tre mesi di acqua potabile attraverso dei camion cisterna. WATER FOR GAZA CAMPAIGN
The population of Gaza is under siege. After the end of the ceasefire, food, drinking water and medicines are once again denied to over two million people, most of them still displaced. Once again Israel uses hunger as a weapon of war. And while bakeries are forced to close due to lack of flour and fuel, Gaza is once again on the brink of famine.
Almost 2 years after the beginning of Israel’s military aggression and with the launch of the recent “Gideon’s tanks” offensive, almost nothing remains of Gaza: destroyed homes, razed hospitals, devastated schools and civil infrastructure. Basic necessities are still dramatically scarce, while hygiene and sanitation conditions remain extremely critical.
Can you imagine the impact of all this on children? They are the most fragile, the most exposed to disease, malnutrition and the devastating effects of the trauma they have experienced.
With your donation you support Yaku Odv for the ACQUA PER GAZA campaign, promoted by the NGO “Un Ponte Per”, to which Yaku Odv has promptly joined, presenting, together with “Un Ponte Per”, Al Ard e UAWC also an Emergency project to the Autonomous Province of Trento “Drops of Hope: Water and hygiene support for displaced families in Gaza”. Your contribution will allow the Palestinian association Al Ard/UAWC to bring drinking water and essential aid to families, strengthening the local response to the emergency.
